The Story of Noah's Ark
A long time ago, people on earth became very mean and stopped listening to God. But one man named Noah was different. Noah loved God and always tried to do what was right. One day, God told Noah He was going to send a great flood to wash away the wickedness on earth, but He promised to save Noah and his family.
God told Noah to build a gigantic boat called an Ark. It had to be huge because it needed to fit Noah's family and two of every kind of animal! People probably laughed at Noah for building a giant boat far away from the ocean, but Noah kept working because he trusted God.
When the Ark was finished, the animals came—lions, elephants, monkeys, and even tiny bugs—marching two by two into the boat. Then the rain started. It rained for 40 days and 40 nights! The whole earth was covered in water, but Noah, his family, and the animals were safe and dry inside the Ark. Finally, the rain stopped, the water went down, and God put a beautiful rainbow in the sky as a promise that He would never flood the earth again.
